What does one mean by eliminating doubting by practicing a strong sense of faith? Well first off, let me ask you this. What does faith mean to you? Is it believing in a God? Or is it as simple as believing in yourself? I think it’s a combination of both.
Although I went to a catholic high school and college, I was never raised in a religious household. My Grandparents use to preach faith to me but I never really found it to be of interest. This would all change when I had such a profound experience, which led me to no other option but resorting to faith.
In September of 2018, I was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. At the time this seemed to be the end for me. It felt like all my trials and tribulations were crashing down on me all at once. Thoughts of hopelessness flowed through my erroneous mind. You could say that I was a seed buried deep in the ground. Being in such a dark place in my life, I decided to step outside of my comfort by practicing faith. It seemed like all I had left was faith.
While overcoming this new diagnosis I found purpose in life. I’m a firm believer that my life’s purpose is to give athletes hope who are going through physical, mental, and emotional illnesses like myself. As I begin this new venture in my life, I continue to strive to be consistent with my faith. My current faith frees my will from having any self-doubt because once you find purpose, you should do anything and everything in your power to fulfill it. My sense of faith is so strong now, that I will die trying to achieve my purpose.
So I ask you this, have you found purpose? And if you have, what are you doing to fulfill it? If you have not found purpose yet, try speaking to the universe. Tell it what you would like out of life and continue to practice faith. If you have a strong sense of faith in what you are trying to achieve, no one in this world can tell you what you can’t do. Your dreams are not far-fetched, you just haven’t fully manifested them yet. But remember keep pushing yourself, you will get there
