Bruce serves as the Finance & Development Director for Alston for Athletes. He oversees the organization’s grants, donations, and fiscal priorities to help the foundation meet its goal of providing mental health resources to athletic directors, coaches, and student athletes. Working directly with the Executive Director of Alston for Athletes, he plays a critical role in shaping the long-term strategy of the organization.
Bruce was a competitive swimmer in high school and developed a passion to broaden the availability of resources for students with mental health challenges after witnessing firsthand the lack of support and guidance that they currently have. He majored in Finance and Economics at the University of Pittsburgh and has worked at The Vanguard Group for the past seven years. Now working as an investment analyst for the firm, he looks forward to applying what he learned to help make an impact at Alston for Athletes. Bruce is presently based out of the greater Philadelphia area.
