Dam Worth Its mission is to end the stigma around mental health at colleges and universities across the country through the power of sport, storytelling, and community creation. Their vision is to be the gold standard in higher education for establishing, implementing, and sustaining peer-led mental health awareness campaigns.

After quietly sitting out of the 2021 season with much speculation as to his whereabouts Harry Miller decided it was time to put an end to the false narratives circulating and tell his story by announcing his medical retirement from football. His statement caught the hearts of the country, and he was instantly catapulted into a newer, more important role, Mental Health Advocate. His mission is simple, to break the stigma surrounding mental illness by raising awareness and education, using the motto, “Don’t Make It Weird”, talk about mental health.

Hilinski’s Hope Foundation is a non-profit organization formed to promote awareness and education of mental health and wellness for student athletes. The Foundation’s mission is to educate, advocate, and eliminate the stigma associated with mental illness, while funding programs that provide student-athletes with the tools and resources that support their mental health and wellness.

The goal of “Sack the Stigma” is to bring awareness to the 988 lifeline, raise money for counseling services for Michigan student-athletes, and of course reduce the stigma surrounding mental health.

The Hidden Opponent (THO) was founded in 2019 by Victoria Garrick, former Division I athlete and PAC-12 Champion who was a four year starter on the University of Southern California Women's Volleyball team. THO is named after Garrick's 2017 TEDxTalk, which details her personal battle with depression and anxiety, and the mental health crisis facing athletes around the world.
