Olivia Finckel

Director of Programs

Born and raised in Lutherville, MD. Olivia grew up playing sports in the greater Baltimore area. From swimming, to soccer, to dance and much more she loved participating in sports from a young age. After choosing to focus on volleyball, Olivia committed to play at the Division II level at Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, FL. She played at PBA for her freshman year and made it to the DII Final Four with her team. From here, she transferred to Towson University to complete her undergraduate career. In her senior season Liv played a vital role in leading her team to their first conference championship in 13 years, an undefeated season in conference and their first appearance in the second round of the NCAA tournament, where they faced Penn State. Lived was named to the conference all tournament team and received All-American honorable mention accolades postseason.

During her time at Towson, Liv studied Psychology and Business Administration while being a part of clubs and committees such as Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Dean’s Student Advisory Committee, Student Athlete Advisory Committee and Own Your Roar (a student athlete mental health initiative). She made the Dean’s List and Commissioners Honor Roll throughout each semester at Towson and graduated with her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology in the Spring of 2020.

Since graduating, Liv has moved back down to West Palm Beach to earn her masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at PBA. Here she will also be competing as a member of the beach volleyball team in the spring. Liv is passionate about the importance of athletics for people of all ages and aims to work in sports psychology when she is finished school. She hopes to work directly with athletes and allow them to grow mentally in order to compete at their highest potential.
