Christa Doyle, LMFT-Associate
Associate Director

Christa serves as the Associate Director at Alston for Athletes. She oversees the Scholarship Program, which consists of creating and maintaining scholarship guidelines, cultivating relationships, connecting awardees to mental health providers, and monitoring the program's efficacy. She participates in research, curriculum, and mentorship to advocate for, serve, and empower athletes in understanding they have a voice regarding informed decisions they make regarding their mental health is as essential as their physical health.
Currently, she resides in Houston, Texas, where she grew up as a competitive athlete. She discovered her purpose in wanting to work with athletes during her time as an NCAA Division I athlete at the University of Alabama while earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Shortly after, she obtained a Master of Science degree in Sport and Performance Psychology from California Baptist University and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling at Sam Houston State University. Christa holds the credential of a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT-Associate). She continues to provide services to athletes of various demographics, ages, sports, and leagues to overcome mental blocks to thrive optimally under pressure.
